350. VILLE LEINONEN "ENSIMMAISTA KERTAA"

i felt i'd gone as long as i could without risking people going into withdrawal over not hearing any new tracks from the beloved lands of magical pop, Scandinavia! to keep things interesting i've prepared a delicious fix from her mysterious neighbour; Finland, that will keep you soaring on the transcendental pop plane, here's a fluttery et blissed-out, deliriously layered et textured, sublime duet Ensimmäistä Kertaa {For The First Time}, from acclaimed Finnish "sonic sculptor" et avant-folk crooner Ville Leinonen off his sublime album "Auringonsäde/Pommisuoja" (2011).

Ensimmäistä Kertaa features the gorgeously airy vocal harmonies of Finnish pop singer Paula Vesala. enjoy!

  1. Scandinavia isn't a country, it's a name of the countries Norway, Denmark and Sweden combined.

  2. hi, yes i know, i never refered to scandinavia as a "country", i described it as "lands of magical pop". i am also aware that finland is not technically part of said 'scandinavia', due to linguistic differences, however it is often included due to geographical proximities etc.
