199. STEFFALOO "THE RED RUNS FREE"
here's a compelling et poignant, reverb-swooning, wistful ballad, The Red Runs Free from LA-based ambient-folk songstress Stephanie Thompson aka Steffaloo off her forthcoming "On Fire" 7" (2011).
The Red Runs Free is the achingly beautiful b side of the wonderful "On Fire" 7", which is the first official release taken from Steffaloo's highly recommended debut album "Meet Me In Montauk" (2011), it is available from Steffaloo's bandcamp, where you can also stream the entire album, so you should head over there {if you haven't already}!
the brilliant psyched-out cover art is by Seattle-based collage artist extraordinaire Jesse Treece.
MP3: The Red Runs Free
the "On Fire" 7" is set for release August 16th on Jaxart, be in quick as there will be only 300 copies of this 7" in existence, made on custom marbled vinyl too! it will also be available digitally from Steffaloo's bandcamp.
you can check out my post for Steffaloo's devastatingly sublime single Fly Away {if you haven't already}.
