185. BLOOD ORANGE "SUTPHIN BOULEVARD"

trust me when i say, you need to check out the ridiculously catchy new single, Sutphin Boulevard from Brooklyn-based synth pop/r&b crooner Devonté "Dev" Hynes aka Blood Orange off his much anticipated debut album "Coastal Grooves" (2011).

Sutphin Boulevard is a hypnotic, nocturnal, 80s r&b-laced groove, with an infectious, dirty, stomping beat, sleazy, throbbing bassline, creeping, plinky, oriental-style guitar riffs et of course Hynes' trademark, sultry, smooth, androgynous delivery. grab your roller skates, head down to your local roller-disco et demand that the dj play this track! enjoy!
