338. JESSE RUINS "DREAM ANALYSIS"

here's an ultra-infectious jam, fueled by a killer fuzzed-out bassline et laced with airy, swirling vocals awash in a hazy-mist of pulsing et sparkling synth textures, time for a Dream Analysis from enigmatic Japanese dreamgazer Jesse Ruins off his forthcoming, yet to be titled EP (2012).

et feast your ears on the dark et distortion-laden lead single from the soon to be released "A Bookshelf Sinks Into The Sand/In Icarus" 7" coming out on Double Denim Records. unfortunately i fear it has already sold out as it was limited to only 300 copies, however don't fear Captured Tracks have plans to reissue it!

well it's official, Jesse Ruins has now signed to hip Brooklyn outfit Captured Tracks, who are set to release an EP in February et a long player later next year.

324. DIVE "SOMETIME"

here's a wonderful new track awash in a misty haze of shimmery, reverb-quivering, jangly guitars et warm vocals, they merge harmoniously creating an irresistibly catchy, wistful, indie pop reverie, Sometime from Brooklyn-based guitar-pop outfit Dive {chiefly Beach Fossils guitarist Zachary Cole Smith} off their debut "Sometime" 7" (2011).

the fuzzed-out, discordant synth intro totally reminds me of 80s Roxy Music. enjoy!

MP3: Sometime

the "Sometimes" 7" is out now on Captured Tracks, it is available on vinyl, or as a digital download from itunes.
